Dr. Zaki will personally explain all recommended procedures and will keep you fully informed about every aspect of your treatment. After gathering important information- which may include models, x-rays, and facial photographs- we can best determine your orthodontic needs and treatment plan. In addition to braces, other orthopedic appliances can direct the growth and development of jaws in children and teens.

About Zaki Orthodontics
Dr. Zaki received his certification in orthodontics from Columbia University in New York in 1983 and has been practicing in the Virginia Beach area since 1987. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, several local dental study clubs, and is a past president of the Tidewater Orthodontic Society. He achieved the status of Diplomat, American Board of Orthodontics in 1993. When he is not in the office, Dr. Zaki enjoys spending time with his wife, Diana, and their two sons. He is also an avid fisherman, and enjoys gourmet cooking and vegetable gardening.
Dr. Zaki provides one-on-one care to his patients. This includes specialized treatment and customized payment plans. We use the latest technology and highest quality materials. No recycled braces or appliances will ever be used by our practice. Dr. Zaki and his staff provide personal care and support throughout the course of treatment.

How Zaki Orthodontics Helped Me Gain Confidence .

When I first arrived at Zaki Orthodontics , I was a second semester 6th grader and I had an extremely low self-esteem. Due to insurance abilities, Zaki Orthodontics helpfulness, and my parents being retired military, I was given a relatively low price for my braces, expander, and retainer by the beginning of my 7th grade year. Through the course of 2 years, there were good , yet painful, times , but in the end , it was all worth it. In the middle of my 9th grade year, I got them taken off and received my retainer the following week. But, here I am today, a 10 grader entering my 11th grade year in the fall, and I can truly and honestly say that Zaki Orthodontics changed me from a little girl into a beautiful young lady. I'm greatly appreciative for the work, time, and patience that Dr. Zaki exemplified over the years and I wish him, his employees, and his practice the best of luck.

My 16 year old son has been a patient of Dr. Zaki's for approximately six months. When we first arrived in Virginia Beach, we consulted with another well-known orthodontist group. Although they were nice, they didn't address our questions and concerns to our satisfaction. Then I found Dr. Zaki. From the initial contact by phone they were great. His staff are kind and work with our schedule. Dr. Zaki was very thorough at our son's consult which included multiple pictures and an exam. We know every step of the way what the goal is for our son and what needs to be done to reach that goal. Dr Zaki has a very calm manner and does great with those children and adults with dentist/orthodontist anxiety issues. We recommend Zaki Orthodontics to everyone.

I am 25 years old and I started going to Dr. Zaki December 2006. I have to tell you the truth, I really enjoy his service and he definitely knows what he's talking about. Originally I shopped around and I found Dr. Zaki to be the most knowledgeable. Another orthodontist, I won't say their name, was going to let me get Invisalign because I wanted it. Dr. Zaki looked in my mouth and told me the truth; there was no way Invisalign would work for me. He isn't a doctor that will take your money and do whatever you want. He actually cares about me, as a customer, being happy with the work when it's all said and done. Because his work--the finished product, just like any service, is his name and reputation. At the beginning stages, I was unsure of what he was doing because I had to get teeth removed, but over time, I started seeing how things were all coming together and if I had a question on what he was doing or if I questioned if I’m still on schedule to get them off, he has always answered honestly. Dr. Zaki has flexible payment options, so I didn't have to worry about having all the money up front. The staff is very nice and pleasant. I know just about everyone on a first name basis and the mood never changes from one visit to another. Just pleasant people to be around. I believe that too many times, when service is so good, we, as consumers, don't write about our experience, but if someone wasn't pleased, then it's written everywhere. So I wanted to take a minute out to recommend Dr. Zaki Orthodontics to anyone that might be looking for a knowledge doctor to look over your mouth for the next 2+ years. Believe me, you won't be disappointed. And if you have any doubts, just have a consultation with him and see what I'm talking about. Great doctor, great staff, and great experience.

Dr.Zaki is an amazing doctor. He makes you feel very comfortable and makes sure you are 100% satisfied with your teeth at all times. He treats each individual with respect, and i enjoyed every visit i made! Also his staff is the BEST! I feel so comfortable around all of them. They always worked with my school schedule when it came to making new appointments. They greet you with a smile everytime and make you feel at home. I LOVE mostly all the girls, especially my 3 that are always at the front,they should know exactly who they are!! Anyways Dr.Zaki is a wonderful doctor and his staff is a reflection of his greatness,and i dont see how anyone could disagree!
