The Old Coast Guard Station was once a legitimate life-saving station, but in recent decades has been converted into a tourist attraction replete with a museum and gift shop. It's located on the downtown waterfront of Virginia Beach, south of Princess Anne Country Club. The Station has two floors of exhibits detailing the culture and history of the Coast Guard and its myriad rescue methods.
Open Mon. - Sat. 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Sun. noon - 5:00 p.m.
Adults $4; Seniors an Military $3; Children (6 - 18) $2; Children under 6 are free.
